On the 11th hour of the 11th day, on the 11th month in the year 1918, the guns fell silent throughout the Western Front, as well as in all theatres of the war.

That very moment is now an incredibly important part of our national story and history as we stand united to honour those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.

Let us remember the fallen by wearing our poppies, participating in ceremonial events and by observing the two-minute silence, appreciating and respecting them as we acknowledge the debt we owe to such heroes.
